At EAW, we believe in building literacy programs around the use of children's literature & student writing programs. Reading aloud, independent reading, and the frequent use of school libraries are all important components of impactful literacy programs. We believe that even young children can be "real" writers and we work with teachers to develop programs that make use of the power of both reading and writing to build literacy.
